Guest researcher Dr. Kavata from Japan works in Silava
Dr. Kavata introduces himself:
"My name is Yukichika Kawata. I am an assistant professor at Obihiro Univ, Hokkaido, Japan. I am a visiting researcher at Silava from Feb. 20th to May 30th. I do appreciate it very much for giving me a chance to be a member here.
I am researching wildlife management from economic view point. I am also interested in regional planning, fishery management and other nature related fields.
This is my 6th stay in Latvia. Every time, I did enjoy beautiful scenery in Riga and countryside, but this time I will more concentrate on my study. I will be usually in room 419 and please come to this room anytime for any reason: talking for research, for communication and everything".
