LSFRI "Silava"  has 24 researchers with a doctor's degree (in forestry, biology or engineering science), 48 Masters, as well as engineers, assistants and support personnel.

Totally by January 1, 2011 scientific staff of Institute is 85; totally 103 employees and 17 contractors work in Institute.
