In honor of the second anniversary of the European Climate Pact initiative, Climate Pact ambassadors, experts, as well as nature and climate activists from all over the European Union countries came together on the seminar European Climate Pact: Together in Action on February 1, in Brussels (Belgium) to discuss the ways to build a more sustainable Europe for the future.

Researcher of LSFRI "Silava" Daiga Zute – one of the Latvian ambassadors of the European Climate Pact – participated the event. She says: These two years have passed quickly, both actively expressing an opinion in the press and participating in various events where it is possible to address people directly, creating interesting discussions and delving into various aspects of climate change. I appreciate the opportunity to talk about the current climate and forestry issues with schoolchildren, students, and private forest owners, explaining the special role of the forest in the climate context.
