Project the partners are the Department of Forestry of the University of Helsinki, LSFRI "Silava" and Tapio Oy (responsible for the implementation of the tasks of the working groups on the availability of raw materials, as well as cooperation and training).

The aim of the study is to collect and disseminate information on the availability of raw materials necessary for charcoal production, the use of charcoal and potential market opportunities, as well as to develop cooperation between producers and consumers of energy wood.
