The tasks of study are:
- to determine the structure of private forest properties by forest area (ha) in 2009 as follows: (i) up to 5 ha; (ii) between 5 and 10 ha; (iii) between 10 and 50 ha; (iv) between 50 and 300 ha; (v) over 300 ha;
- to determine the proportion of forest owners in each group of owners, mentioned in point 1, who have carried out forestry activities in their forest properties or possessions;
- to prepare the characteristics of private forests (age structure of forest stands broken down by dominant species, in hectares and cubic meters) for each of the groups of forest properties mentioned in point 1, divided according to the assessment provided for in point 2;
- to develop a methodology and, in accordance with it, to determine the potential volumes of forest use for the each year in 2011–2016, by dominant species in Head forestry departments of the State Forest Service.
