The statistical inventory of Latvian forest resources is carried out by LSFRI "Silava" in accordance with the state delegation. In accordance with the provisions of Chapter III "Procedures of Forest Statistical Inventory" of the Regulation of the Latvian Cabinet of Ministers "Regulations of Information Circulation of Forest Inventory and Forest State Register", the statistical inventory of Latvian forest resources is carried out by LVMI "Silava" according to the methodology of conducting sthe statistical inventory of Latvian forest resources, determined by the Minister of Agriculture, and calculating the secondary parameters of the forest stand, and annually until April 1 submitted the information obtained in the previous year's inventory to the Ministry of Agriculture. LSFRI "Silava" ensures permanent storage of inventory data in electronic form in chronological order by forest inventory periods.
