Justification of the research is to ensure operation of the plant gene bank, central data base and molecular laboratory located in the premises of LSFRI "Silava".
Tasks and activities:
- Operation of the plant genetic resource gene bank within the competence of the Ministry of Agriculture and conservation of seed accessions.
- Maintenance of a centralized plant genetic resource database within the competence of the MoA.
- Maintenance and operation of the molecular laboratory for plant genetic resources within the competence of the MoA.
