As part of the project Development of Research and Innovation Capacity at LSFRI “Silava” (2025–2029), the Latvian State Forest Research Institute “Silava” plans to modernise the climate control infrastructure at its climate-controlled laboratory complex. The planned procurement includes high-pressure misting nozzles with adapters, a high-pressure pump and an air-cooling unit.
This equipment will help maintain stable temperature and humidity conditions, which are essential for ensuring controlled environmental conditions in research experiments. The upgraded climate control system will enable more reliable maintenance of the conditions required for experiments and more effective use of the Climate House and laboratory infrastructure.
The planned investment is part of a project aimed at modernising LSFRI “Silava”’s research infrastructure and strengthening the institute’s long-term capacity.

The project “Development of Research and Innovation Capacity at LSFRI ‘Silava’ (2025–2029)” (Agreement No. 1.1.1.2/1/25/I/011) is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and implemented in cooperation with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA). The project aims to strengthen LSFRI “Silava”’s research and innovation capacity by modernising its research infrastructure and introducing advanced technologies.
