After a two-year break, the largest dedicated forest information event in the Baltics – the Latvian Forest Days – took place again at Tērvete park on May 27 and 28. This event bring together forest industry professionals, conservationists, nature lovers, families and students. Also researcher of LSFRI "Silava" participated in the event with the workshop where visitors could find out what carbon is, what the role of coastal forests is in ensuring water quality, what are the newest products that are made of wood, and meet face-to-face and discussed about climate issues with the Ambassador of the European Climate Pact, researcher of LSFRI "Silava" Daiga Zute.
