Scientific assistant of LSFRI "Silava" Aldis Butlers has defended his doctoral thesis on greenhouse gas emissions in forests with natutally wet and drained nutrient-rich organic soils

Yesterday, on November 14, there were held an open session of the Promotion Council of Forest Science in LSFRI "Silava", where scientific assistant of LSFRI "Silava" Aldis Butlers defended his Thesis Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Affecting Factors in Forests With Naturally Wet And Drained Nutrient-Rich Organic Soils.

The Thesis was developed at the Latvian State Forest Institute "Silava" from 2019–2023. Supervisor of the Thesis is the Senior researcher of LSFRI "Silava", Dr.silv. Andis Lazdiņš.
