Activities of the Study:
- Compilation of available information on the distribution and populations of previously identified priority crop wild relative (CWR) species;
- Gap analysis of the compiled information to identify priority species or regions where information is lacking;
- From the available information, identify potential in situ conservation sites for priority CWR.
Results to be achieved:
- Database of available information about the distribution and populations of previously identified priority crop wild relative (CWR) species;
- Identification of knowledge gaps about CWR distribution, sites and diversity;
- potential in situ conservation sites for priority CWR identified, or identification of further research required to elucidate available information about priority CWR sites and diversity.
