Defense of the Thesis of Laura Ķēniņa, Research assistant on tree breeding and climate change

Today, on June 15 in LSFRI "Silava" there were held an open session of the Promotion Council of Forest Science, where the research assistant of the research direction of forest tree breeding and climate change, Mg.silv. Laura Ķēniņa defended her Doctoral Thesis Carbon Stock in Old-Growth Stands on Mineral Soils in Hemiboreal Forests.The Thesis was developed during 2017–2022 at the Latvian State Forest Institute "Silava". The scientific leader of the Thesis is the Senior researcher of LSFRI "Silava", Dr.silv. Āris Jansons.
